What is CrossFit?

CrossFit is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect training regimen for ANY individual regardless of experience.  Our workout of the day (WOD) can and will be custom tailored to the skill and ability of each athlete.  Classes are held in small groups.  The group or communal aspect of CrossFit is a key component of what makes the training so effective.

Greg Glassman, founder of CrossFit, says:

“Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, C&J and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand. pirouettes, flips, splits and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc., hard and fast. Five or six days a week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense. Regularly learn and play new sports.”

What Our Members Are Saying

Don’t just take it from us, let our members do the talking!

Take it from me, a student of exercise science and someone who has been passionate about training for nearly a decade; this facility is top notch! The owners and coaches here at Schedule II are not only knowledgeable and passionate about their craft but are as humble as it gets. New to the CrossFit scene I can safely say I wouldn’t choose a better homestead to soak up the know-how and the experience one needs to gain better understanding of what CrossFit is all about. It takes someone special to step outside their comfort zone and attempt something new and in this case mentally and physically rigorous. If you think you’ve got the spark to give CrossFit a try, not only will you fit right in with the rest but here at Schedule II you’ll feel like you’ve known these folks forever! If there we’re a sixth star this box would get it!

I’m constantly impressed by the dedication and expertise of the coaches here. They’ve created an atmosphere of teamwork and show that they really care about each individual person and their progress. Since I haven’t been able to attend all the regularly scheduled on-ramp classes, they’ve offered make-up sessions. I totally appreciate this because it shows how much they care to ensure that members understand safe form and feel confident in the exercises. Thank you for bringing this awesome fitness opportunity to East Hampton!

Great emphasis on form. Coach Bryan and JJ push you, teach you and help you get stronger quick. Less than a month and a half in, I went down into my basement and gave a stab at my old lame routine. My 10 rep bench max has already increased from 95 –> 115. The strides I’m seeing in such a short amount of time are incredible. Even more important than that, the sense of community is an awesome additional to any new members life. It can be intimidating first showing up…. for about 10 seconds… before the coaches go around the gym and introduce you to some of the nicest, most helpful and experienced CrossFitters. Quick making excuses and sign up. 125-135 bucks a month is worth your happiness and fitness. Save money elsewhere and improve your health and happiness.
